Meet Ben ...

This is my nephew, Ben. His mom (Nicole) calls him Benjamin, but she's also been calling him Ben Kenobi after seeing Star Wars. Ben came here to visit during Christmas. He and I got along really well. I haven't ran and played so much in years. He wore me out! I'm looking forward to his next visit, hopefully in May.

This is pretty much how I spent New Year's Eve and most of New Year's Day. I went to bed around ten o'clock, so I wasn't even awake to bring in 2016. Sleep ... it does a kitty good.

Busy Boy ...

I've been busy guarding the house lately. All sorts of critters come by -- turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, other cats, and now even a rabbit that lives across the street. By morning, I'm so tired that I need to sleep for hours. It's a hard job, but someone's gotta do it.

Roly Poly ...

I got to go outside yesterday and roll on the sidewalk. I love doing that. I get all dirty and dusty. Rena has really neglected my blog, and I'm sorry about that. I'll try to bite her ankles to keep her on top of it.

Doin' School ...

I've been busy doin' school! Sometimes I stare at Rena ... after all, she always has that camera in my face.! Sometimes I walk on Neil's books. Sometimes I stick my face in Rena's coffee mug. And sometimes I hop on the windowsill to watch the birdies. Most of the time I lie on Neil's green chair and check my eyelids for leaks. It's hard work doin' school.

I'm sorry to neglect my blog. I blame Rena for that. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I sure did. I got lots of new toys, snacks, and the best thing—a stroller! Rena wasn't sure how well I'd do, but I love it. I can't wait to go for walks. Right now it's just too cold. Brrr!

My Adoption Day!

Yesterday was my four year Adoption Day! Rena was going to help me blog about it last night, but we both fell asleep. I guess that's more important. Anyway, it's amazing to think I've been part of this family for FOUR years already! Above is how I look today, and below is a picture of me on my first day here. I was really scared, so I hid under a chair for awhile.

I even got a present for my Adoption Day! Rena brought me back a new toy when she and Rick drove Nicole back to college in Billings this weekned. It's a turtle, but I call it Turdy.

I got a new toy!

It's called Owly Cat and it's filled with catnip. Rena picked it out because it's hairy and feathery. I love those things. It's almost as cool as Ugly Bird, my other favorite toy. Who knows. Maybe Owly Cat and Ugly Bird can get married sometime. She got it at Walmart for $2.97. Check it out ...

Don't Break The Denny!

I love this game! Our set was missing some pieces, so Rena found another at a thrift store for 75-cents. Now we have a complete set of Don't Break The Ice again. I want to bite the hammer.

It was recently brought to Rena's attention that she's been neglecting my blog. That's for sure! At least she hasn't been neglecting me. I haven't left her side since she got home from her trip. She was gone nearly 20 days. I stayed home with Nicole. I meowed and meowed and meowed and meowed. Nicole was fun, but I'm glad everyone is home again.

I'm still here!

My mom (or "Mudder", as she's known here) has been neglecting my blog. How rude. I've been doing good though. The weather is nice, so Rena has been taking me outside a little bit. I like eating grass. The other day I chased the squirrel over a rock and up the tree. That was so cool!

I Got Valentines!

It's a hot pink lobster stuffed with catnip. Rena was singing a song called "Rock Lobster", but I don't know what that is. I don't look too thrilled in this picture, but I really like it. I walked around with it on my back for a bit tonight. Also, Neil made ME using Perler beads yesterday. The iron was a little too hot, so it kind of smooshed together, but that's okay. I love it, too.
