Pun'kins!

I love pun'kins. In fact, that's my nickname. Rena calls me Pun'kin all the time. She's says it's because I'm big and round. Here's a picture of me with the boy's pun'kins. I gave them a big sniff when they brought them home the other night. I can't wait for them to carve them. I'm sure I'll be right in the middle of that big ooey, gooey mess!

Below is the boy's reading chart for the year. I'm Farmer Denny and that's my Pun'kin Patch. Every time the boys read a book, they write the name of the book on a pun'kin and plant it in the patch. It has a lot of pun'kins on it already. By June, the patch should be filled with little, orange pun'kins, showing all the books they read for the school year. Do you like carving pun'kins too?

What's up your nose?

I was sleeping in the sun, minding my own business, on the floor of the classroom today. Nathan grabbed Rena's iPhone and took this picture. Talk about catching a cat off guard. Nice shot of my nostril and a bit of my tooth sticking out. I'm so tired ... school really wears me out!

Playing Outside ...

I really an indoor cat, but Rena lets me play outside sometimes. Even then, I can only do that with close supervision. There are a lot of dogs in our neighborhood and the one that lives across the road from us isn't very nice at all. I love it when the boys are back in school because they sometimes go outside for things like science experiments and such. Last year we caught a whole bunch of grasshoppers! Today I just went out and ate some grass. The picture below shows me mid-chew with my teeth sticking out. I also chased a bug across the lawn today. That was fun.

Ugly Bird!

This is Ugly Bird! She is one of my favorite toys. Rena says she looks like some sort of Mardi Gras parade reject. I love her! I chew on her legs, kick her in the face, lick her feathers, and even take her for rides on my back. She's my favorite Ugly Bird!
